Since its inception in 2013 she has taken Generation Dance from strength to strength and is extremely proud of the GD community past, present and future. Jodie was a highly skilled, technical and successful dancer receiving many accolades both locally, nationally and globally during her years as a competition and exam dancer, tertiary dance student and professional dancer. However, her greatest success has been as a highly respected dance teacher and her years of being a studious, hardworking and talented dancer has followed through in her teaching methodology and style. As a dancer, she excelled in the 2 most important dance genres, classical ballet and tap. As a teacher, her strengths lie in teaching classical ballet, conditioning and floor barre, tap and all styles of jazz. You need to experience one of Jodie’s classes to understand the depth of detail, technique, anatomy, artistry, musicality, information and mutual respect provided to her students!  Jodie leads the EEP program at Generation Dance and her technique focused teaching style has produced exceptional results as has her award winning choreography and troupe work. Every teacher likes working with a naturally talented student, Jodie’s thrives on working with those who just love to dance and are willing to work hard.Her passion is quality dance tuition and creating a learning environment for dancers to thrive. Together with her handpicked team of highly qualified and skilled teachers and administration staff, Jodie ensures your dancers time a Generation Dance is a positive experience and one that your dancer will cherish for years to come. All Generation Dance staff members and teachers are highly qualified and/or experienced in their specialised teaching genre. All have a current WWCC, are mandated notifiers and undergo extensive staff induction and training before commencing work with our students.
