Jodie Freeman - CSTD (T/D), Licentiate (AICD), Associate (CBA), Cert IV Dance Teaching and Management
Studio Owner, Director of Teaching and EPP Co-ordinator
Jodie is a passionate dance teacher and an experienced business owner. As a dancer she trained in many different styles but excelled in Classical Ballet, Contemporary and Tap. Jodie’s passion was always teaching and after completing her full time dance studies began teaching around Adelaide in both private dance schools and educational schools. She has been consistently learning and studying and has gained many teaching qualifications. She is currently completing her Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management. Jodie is a teacher who encourages hard work, discipline and commitment from her dancers but above all is compassionate and caring and is aware of student’s limitations both physically and emotionally. Her greatest joy is helping students set goals and then follows through ensuring they are achieved. She has an eye for detail, technique, choreography and composition. Ongoing professional development and extensive research ensures Jodie is aware of current teaching practices and styles and is a very strong advocate for keeping dancers safe. Jodie has a lot of love to give and spends her days ensuring Generation Dance is not only Adelaide’s best performing arts school but is also a positive and supportive environment and community for both students and their parents. Jodie’s husband Tom is a colourful and friendly face often seen at the studio and she is also a very proud mum to BMX rider Max, dancer Miller and her 3 adorable bulldogs Betty, Ivy and Freddie!

Pre School Co-ordinator / Dance Teacher
Katherine began dancing at age three and has trained here in Adelaide for nearly 20 years, in all genres of dance. She has trained extensively in the CSTD & RAD syllabi. In 2016 Katherine studied full time dance at the Village on Broadway in NSW and continues to work within the dance industry, performing in professional shows. Since returning to Adelaide Katherine has continued to pursue her passion for teaching Katherine enjoys working with students of all ages and abilities and has found her teaching experiences enriching and valuable. She works hard to ensure that her students are achieving their personal best, while providing them with the skills and training to reach their goals.

Jorgia - Certificate IV of Performing Arts
Jorgia-May Fleming has been dancing in Adelaide since the age of 2. After graduating high-school she moved to Sydney to study full-time dance at Ev and Bow Performing Arts Centre where she received her Certificate IV of Performing Arts. Over the next three years she went on to perform as a dancer and aerialist on board Celebrity Cruise Line ships as well as becoming Dance Captain on her third contract, the Celebrity Equinox. Since returning home she has continued her training in aerial as well performing for the Adelaide Casino as a show girl. Jorgia is passionate about teaching and works to inspire children to follow their dance dreams.
Jaimie - Cert IV Dance Teaching and Management, SACE Dance
Miss Jaimie has trained in various aspects of the performing arts since discovering her love and passion for it at the age of four. This includes training in vocals, musical theatre, drama and multiple styles of dance (jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop and contemporary).
As well as having been involved with multiple performing arts schools, Miss Jaimie has also completed drama, dance and music (voice) solo/ensemble performance study at SACE level and is currently studying to get her Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management through the Australian College of Dance.
Miss Jaimie has had the opportunity to perform in many musicals over the years, featuring as one of the Dynamites in Hairspray, Cassie in 13 The Musical and an ensemble member in The Pirates Of Penzance, as well as being a part of many performing arts showcases.
Following on from her own performing experiences, Miss Jaimie now teaches (and assists) classes in dance, singing and musical theatre and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love for the arts with her students.
Evelyn - Junior Teacher AICD Advanced 2, ATOD Elementary Jazz, ATOD Elementary Seal Tap
Evelyn began dancing at the age of four and has been training in all genres ever since. She has gone onto completing her final ACID Ballet exam, Advance 2, with Highly Commended, as well as achieving high marks for ATOD Jazz and Tap exam levels. Evelyn is currently studying Year 12 at St Aloysius College, and hopes to achieve high marks for her SACE. Since 2011, Evelyn has been assistant teaching in Pre-School classes. She has found these experiences rewarding to develop her confidence as a teacher, as well as providing young children with an enriching dance experience. Evelyn works hard to develop her teaching ability, to ensure that her students are having fun, and learning the skills required to be a beautiful dancer.
