Our EEP program is boutique, holistic and nurturing training program for dancers in Year 2 through to Year 12 (and beyond!). These students must have a desire to achieve, strive to excel, and develop their dance and performing art technique and performance quality to a very high standard. Within this program dancers work individually in technique and exam classes but, for selected students, also as a team in their competition troupe and choreography classes. Students in the EEP program may have the goal of becoming a professional dancer, performer, or dance teacher. It is also for students who have the ability and desire to achieve high standards of technique and performance throughout their dance training but not necessarily want to continue as a career. This stream of classes encourages and teaches discipline, time management, resilience, teamwork, perseverance, and commitment. With these come pride, sense of achievement, happily balanced and well-rounded children and above all, highly skilled dancers. Our EEP program covers all genres of dance and performing arts. Specialising in a strong classical ballet foundation and including exams and performance opportunities in tap, jazz (all styles), lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acrobatics, music theatre, and voice.
Like all elite training programs, we have strict rules and guidelines that must be followed. These include attendance, commitment, and behaviour expectations. and these can be found by clicking the age group links below.
Every child in the EEP program gets treated equally and fairly and all deserve the attention of their teachers. Limiting class numbers means teachers have the time to work individually within group classes. All students deserve the opportunity to learn, improve and thrive with the support from the Generation Dance staff and those around them.
Graduating students from our EEP program have been accepted into prestigious full time tertiary and VET dance courses both nationally and internationally. Numerous students have received merits for SACE Dance, and we have many past students choosing a career in dance teaching. We also have many successful graduates excelling in their chosen career or university paths.
