Recreational Dance (FOR FUN!)

Our recreational stream caters for school aged children 7 through to 15 years. It is a program designed for dancers who do not want the pressure or commitment of compulsory competitions or exams but still receive fun performance opportunities. These classes still offer a high quality of dance tuition and are a heap of fun! There are no compulsory lessons within this stream and students can pick the genres they like or do them all. ENROL FOR A TRIAL

Generation Dance offer one PAID trial class to new students, meaning no large term fee payment payable before you are sure your child is going to love their class/es.

Our payments are fully automated so when you enrol for a trial you must submit a direct debit form. We will deduct the cost of the trial class once we confirm your child’s registration. Ezi debit will also deduct the $5.50 direct debit once off account set up fee. If your child does not want to continue after their trial class, there is nothing more to pay and your direct debit is cancelled, but you must let us know within 24 hours. Otherwise, our office staff will roll you over to a permanent enrolment and will set you up on the monthly debit cycle. You can read more about this on our Fee Schedule and Terms & Conditions.

AGES & CLASSES AVAILABLE

JUNIOR – Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 (7 to 9yrs)

Jazz & Hip Hop (60 min) / Tap (30 min) / Ballet (30 min) / Acrobatics / Music Theatre

PRE TEEN – Year 5, Year 6 and Year 7 (10 to 12yrs)

Jazz & Hip Hop (60 min) / Tap (30 min) / Ballet (30 min) / Acrobatics / Music Theatre

TEEN – Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 (13+ yrs)

Hip Hop (45 min) / Acrobatics / Music Theatre

Dancers from Year 8 onwards may join our EEP technique classes as a RECREATIONAL student, please contact the office for more information.

ADDITIONAL CLASSES

REC students may apply to enrol in Exam classes. Students must attend the REC class for their age group as well as the genre exam they are undertaking. Please see the EEP page for more information regarding exams.
