Recreational Dance (FOR FUN!)
Our recreational stream is perfect for kids aged 7 to 15 who want to dance for fun, without the pressure of competitions or exams! With no compulsory classes, your child can choose their favourite styles—or try them all! Each class is packed with fun and excitement, making it the perfect way to dance on their own terms. ENROL FOR A TRIAL
Generation Dance offers one paid trial class for new students.
Payments are automated, so when you register for a trial, you'll submit a direct debit form. The trial fee will be deducted once your child’s trial is confirmed, along with a one-time $5.50 direct debit setup fee. If your child doesn’t want to continue, let us know within 24 hours, and we’ll cancel your enrolment. If you don’t let us know, we’ll automatically enrol you in our monthly payment plan. Teen dancers may join our EEP technique classes in Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary/Lyrical as a RECREATIONAL student, please contact the office for more information.
PERFORMANCES
Recreational students get two exciting chances to perform each year—at our Mid-Year Showcase in June and the End-of-Year Showcase in December! The fun of learning performance routines is part of every class. It's a great way for your dancer to shine on stage!

CUSTOMER PORTAL / BAND ACCESS
Once enrolled for a trial you will be set up in our software enrolment system. Please register in the customer portal where you can view enrolments, invoices and payments, change payment details, updated personal details etc. If signing up for the first time the studio code is NZKB7SD8
BAND is the app we use to communicate with parents. We use it to share class updates, videos and photos, as well as at-home practice resources for students. BAND is a safe and easy-to-use app, and we encourage all parents to create an account. Students must be 16 years or older to have their own BAND account.
