Studio Hire

STUDIO HIRE REQUESTS MUST BE RECEIVED 48hrs before the requested hire time. Anything requested after this time will be cancelled.

When booking the studio via the button below you are REQUESTING a studio hire. Your studio hire request is NOT CONFIRMED until you do the following -

1. Forward this email to info@generationdance.net.au *We do not receive a notification that a studio hire has been requested, so you must email this to us.

2. Include in the above email a list of participants who will be using the studio, include all dancers and/or teachers.

3. If all participants (dancers and/or teachers) are CURRENT members of Generation Dance, we only require this email to be forwarded. As current members you all agree to our terms and conditions of enrolment/employment and follow GD policies and procedures, meaning you are all covered by our insurance.

4. If any particpant (dancers and/or teachers) are NOT CURRENT members of Generation Dance, you must also forward a valid Certificate of Currency for $20 million Public Liability, as you are not covered by Generation Dance insurance policies.

Once this is all received, we can confirm your studio hire. At times we need to move your requested time, but will communcate this with you. We will send you a confirmation with instruction on how to open/use our studio.

If the above is not received, your booking will be cancelled.

STUDIO DETAILS

Studio 1- 11m x 8m. Ceiling height 5m / $25 per hour (current GD students) or $35 per hour (external hire)

Stereo with bluetooth and aux cord. Sprung vinyl dance floor. Removable ballet barres. Mirrors. Industrial fans.

Studio 2 - 10m x 6m. Ceiling height 2.7m / $20 per hour (current GD students) or $30 per hour (external hire)

Stereo with bluetooth and aux cord. Sprung vinyl dance floor. Fixed ballet barres. Mirrors. Air Conditioning.

*When booking ensure you include set up and pack up time. Your code to collect the studio key only works from the studio hire start time and studio hire end time. Do not enter the studio prior to your booking time and ensure the studio is vacated and cleaned by your booking end time. Others may have booked the studio directly after so please be considerate.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

If you do not receive a studio hire confirmation (due to not following the above steps) your request has been cancelled. Refunds will only be provided if contact is made within 24hours of requested hire time.

Use of stereo is included in hire fee, NO other equipment is to be used. Do not use the computers, do not turn off the computers Bluetooth and do not unplug anything from the power points.

Building and studios (including front and rear carparks) are recorded 24/7 via CCTV. 

Hirers will be liable to pay repair/replacement costs if any damage or breakages occur, ensure tap screws are well secured.

Studio is to be left clean and tidy, with cleaning equipment available for use in the prop storage area. Hirers will be liable for cleaning costs if cleaning is required after use.

Cancellation within 24 hours of booked time forfeits payment.

Generation Dance accepts no responsibility for injuries caused whilst hiring our studio and all hirers must be covered by valid Public Liability insurance. Current Generation Dance staff and students are covered under our insurance, and must follow all enrolment/employment terms and conditions, policies and procedures. Users who are not current Generation Dance staff and students must provide their valid $20 million Public Liability Certificate of Currency. We recommend Dansurance if you require a company to provide your insurance.
