MINI STARS
Jazz, Hip Hop, Singing & Flexibility classes for 5 to 7 years olds
MINI STARS is an action-packed, one-hour combo class featuring JAZZ, HIP HOP, SINGING, and FLEXIBILITY! It’s a blast of fun while learning awesome dance techniques and so many other cool skills. Your little star will love every minute!
JAZZ – High energy, fast paced dance style teaching kicks, turns, leaps, isolations, musicality and strength.
HIP HOP – Learn some of the coolest hip hop moves with current (censored and appropriate!) music.
SINGING – Discover songs from Music Theatre productions, practice reading and learning the lyrics and then work on projection, diction and tune.
FLEXIBILITY – The students will learn gentle stretching techniques and will work towards achieving splits, leg mounts, cobras, butterflies and frogs, which will assist their jazz technique.
This class was designed by our Director, Jodie Freeman, who brings over 20 years of teaching experience. Her innovative methods are highly regarded in the dance industry, thanks to the incredible results she achieves with younger dancers.
ENROL FOR A TRIAL
Generation Dance offers a paid trial class for new students, so no big term fees are due until you're sure your child loves it.
Payments are automated, so when you register for a trial, you'll submit a direct debit form. The trial fee will be deducted once your child is confirmed, along with a one-time $5.50 setup fee. If your child doesn’t want to continue, let us know within 24 hours, and we’ll cancel the direct debit. If you don’t let us know, we’ll automatically enrol you in our monthly payment plan. AGE
The Mini Stars program is for Reception and Year 1 school age students, aged between 5 and 7 years. Mid Year reception intake students can commence this program in Term 3.

MINI STARS 6&U COMPETITION TROUPE
Competition Troupe offers dancers extra performance opportunities throughout the year. In a dedicated class, they learn and refine choreography for competitions, working together in a fun, team environment to shine on stage.
To join the Jazz and Song & Dance troupe, students must attend both Mini Stars Jazz, Hip Hop, Singing & Flexibility, and Mini Stars Ballet classes. To join the Tap troupe students must attend the previous classes as well as Mini Stars Tap.
Full commitment to all troupe dates and requirements, as outlined in the Competition Troupe Schedule, is essential.

Mini Stars students get two exciting chances to perform each year—at our Mid-Year Display in June and the End-of-Year Showcase in December! The fun of learning performance routines is part of every class. It's a great way for your little dancer to shine on stage!
